The Fellowship Training Programme for Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus (FTPED) is a training programme from Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre for UAE Nationals. The three-year program is approved by Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, and sponsored by Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA). Training is based upon the UK’s Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB) Endocrinology curriculum.

The Imperial Diabetes Educator Training course at Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC) is a multi-disciplinary course to develop students for work as health professionals in the area of diabetes education and management. IDET is one of just few courses in the UAE that has this status.
