Dr. Mai Al Jaber is the Chief Executive Officer of M42’s Outpatient Care assets, overseeing Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre, HealthPlus Family Clinic, HealthPlus Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, and Moorfields Eye Hospital Abu Dhabi.
In her role, Dr. Mai focuses on optimising operations and enhancing patient access and experience across all outpatient care facilities under her leadership. She also spearheads efforts to expand their footprint within the UAE and the wider region.
With over 17 years of experience in General Medicine, Dr. Mai began her healthcare career in 2005 as a General Practitioner at Zayed Military Hospital. Her passion for public health inspired her to earn a Master of Public Health and Leadership from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University in 2012.
In 2013, Dr. Mai joined Healthpoint as a specialist in public health medicine, working within the Department of Family Medicine to implement preventive screening programmes. She was appointed Medical Director of Healthpoint in 2016, where she played a pivotal role in clinical leadership and operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, Dr. Mai remains a dedicated community leader, serving on various health and sports committees. She is the President of the National Anti-Doping Agency of the United Arab Emirates.
Her leadership and contributions have earned her several accolades, including the Arab Women Award in the medical category in 2021 and the title of Woman of the Year by the Emirates Woman Award in 2018.
