Biography
Dr. Aldhaheri has nearly a decade of experience in Family Medicine.
Dr. Aldhaheri earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the United Arab Emirates University, Al Ain, in 2013. She subsequently completed her residency in Family Medicine at Ambulatory Health Care Services, Al Ain, from 2014 to 2018, and was awarded the Arab Board Certificate in Family Medicine, which is accredited by the Jordanian Board and ACGME. With over 10 years of experience in family medicine across various SEHA medical facilities, she has also conducted and published research on Type 2 Diabetes and endocrine disorders. Prior to joining ICLDEC, Dr. Aldhaheri worked at the Swedish Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi, as a Family Medicine Specialist.
Dr. Aldhaheri’s scope of practice includes the management of geriatric clinic and geriatric disorders, chronic disease clinics such as diabetes type 2, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and thyroids disorders.
Scope of practice
Incision and drainage of abscess, wound dressing, sutures insertion and repairing of laceration, ECG placement and reading, spirometry reading, skin biopsy and excision of dermal lesions, reduction of minor dislocations, subluxations, and sports injuries, pediatric and adult vaccinations, management of head injuries, removal of foreign bodies, infiltration of local anesthetic, digital blocks of fingers, eye patch application, and trigger point injections, packing of anterior nasal cavity and insertion of nasogastric tube, insertion of urinary catheter, bi-manual vaginal examination, PAP smear, low and high vaginal swabs, normal vaginal deliveries, fetal heart monitoring with fetoscope, cardiotocography reading and interpretation, Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, venipuncture, and insertion of IV lines, management of acute and chronic cases, screening for colon cancer, cervical cancer, and breast cancer.
