Biography
Dr. Alneyadi obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, United Arab Emirates, in 2012. She subsequently completed her specialist training in Family Medicine and was awarded the Arab Board of Health Specializations Certificate in Family Medicine in 2018. Dr. Alneyadi is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). She also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical and Health Education (PG Cert Med Health Ed) from The University of Manchester, UK, in 2022, followed by a Master of Science in Clinical Education (MSc Clinical Education) from the University of Edinburgh, UK, in 2024.
Dr. Alneyadi served as Core Faculty Member and Associate Programme Director for the Family Medicine Residency Programme in Al Ain from 2019 to 2024, contributing to the education, supervision, and development of future family physicians. She has also been actively involved in home care services through Ambulatory Healthcare Services in Al Ain and serves as an Instructor and Faculty Member for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and an Instructor for Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). Dr. Alneyadi has a strong interest in medical education, clinical training, and the advancement of primary healthcare services.
Prior to joining Imperial College London Diabetes & Endocrine Centre (ICLDEC), Dr. Alneyadi worked as a Family Medicine Consultant at SEHA, United Arab Emirates.
Scope of Practice
Dr. Alneyadi’s scope of practice includes comprehensive primary care for all age groups, management of diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidaemia, obesity management, cancer screening, and vaccination services.
Field of Expertise
Dr. Alneyadi’s field of expertise includes the management of common acute and chronic medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and dyslipidaemia, counselling on lifestyle modification and risk factor management including smoking cessation and weight control, preventive healthcare services including immunisations, health screening programmes and patient education, routine wellness assessments, age-appropriate health evaluations including well-woman care, and medical education involving the supervision and assessment of trainees, academic activities, and research.
