Biography
Dr. Hassab dedicated his early years to his native Sudan with the hospitals there benefiting from his skills, which always included a special interest in diabetes. Dr. Hassab then swapped Africa for the Gulf, joining the Ministry of Health in Oman where he worked in a number of medical facilities. After moving the short distance to the UAE he served in the medical services of the UAE armed forces for over a decade, before joining ICLDEC in 2012. He has further enhanced his diabetes expertise after completing a post graduate diploma and a Masters degree in diabetes, both in the UK.
